From New New York to Paris, or whether soft of edgy - anyone would agree that black is a universal color. Just like grey or white, while wearing black you will find it hard to actually be offending someone with what your wearing. Not only black color that can translate throughout worldwide, but it also becomes a go-to color during life’s harder times. Which is no surprise why the color has been popping up more ever the Fall 2008 collections. Or could it just be that black is just a very versatile hue that instantly takes the mind to a different place? After all, it’s one half of the color palette that the house of Chanel has built and empire from.
As more nudes and softer tones appeared on the past Spring runways, many realized the need to add some edge to their look. Leading for black accessories to be the thing of choice too top off any outfit. At Chanel, the noted shopping bag goes leather and chained brooches become layered, paired with tulle hats and feathered pumps. Creating for a timeless yet modern look. Whilst at Alexander Wang, the color goes on to a grunge look in chained gladiator sandals and washed-out bags. Whatever the message you may be trying to send across within your sense of style, try a little black this season.

I don't really like black, but since the world of fashion does, what can I do? Well, I'm trying to avoid it:)
That McQueen sandal is just marvellous, yes, that might be the right word for it; some might use the phrase TDF as well.
The shoes are gorgeous! A while ago I promised myself to buy more color and print, and so I did. But now I'm craving for black more than ever hahah! I'm also looking forward to pairing black (silks) with nude and offwhite this summer!
x!
that alexander wang is fabulous...and somehow even more impressive in person.
Ohhh I like chanel, but only those classic one. I have 2.55, but I want a Jambo one!! Cant afford it right now, it makes me sad but i want it. Mean while, use the one I have :D
I would really like that Alexander Wang bag. It looks like it would go with everything! And the Alexander McQueen shoes are great, but I'd probably just sit around and gaze lovingly at them instead of wearing them.
i absolutely love the alexander wang bag and the chanel bag as well as those alexander mcqueen shoes. the heels are throwing me for a loop though. :)
ack, i posted a comment and it was deleted.
i love the a wang bag, the chanel bag and the a mcqueen shoes, but the heels are throwing me for a loop.
I do love black as well, especially Chanel black, I love how they've established their brand and even have a leather carrier bag. Thanks for your comment; even though I love coloured tights, sometimes black is the right choice as well, especially some of the patterned styles (I have black vintage Missoni tights my Mum is jealous of).
Black is the best option, especially when you have nothing to wear. I find myself always reaching out for my black clothes (well, ok, black's sorta like a uniform where i work), but I really don't mind.
But seriously, that Chanel tote is really growing on me!
BTW, thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment, im sure your nightingale's gorgeous too! =D
Those A. McQueen shoes are to die for! And the Alexander Wang bag ... what I wouldn't do to have that! I really like your blog, and I'll definately be checking back soon! By the way, thank you so much for your nice comment on my blog! It is much appreciated.

Oh my, what tights is that girl wearing!? They are amazing!
I'm a huge fan of black clothing and accessories, so I love the collage you put together. Having said that, I'm still not sure about the Chanel tote. I've seen it in person and think it's witty, but not sure I'd pay for something that looks like a shopping bag. Have yet to see someone carry that though. Thanks for visiting my blog by the way. I really like yours :)
I love your blog! Ever since your previous one! xD
I've added you to my blog roll, would you mind adding me to your site links? :}
